It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

We have lots of exciting things taking place this December at Pre-school and we wanted to take this opportunity to share with you some of the planned events. We know that lots of you will be celebrating Christmas so Ecclesall Pre-school would like to partake in the Christmas spirit which is why we will be hosting a range of activities in the last week to mark this special occasion.

Every year Ecclesall pre-school children are asked to make some lovely decorations for the Parish Halls Christmas tree.  Your children will therefore be using their creative skills to make some glittering decorations to add some sparkle to the Christmas tree. Children will be able to take home their glittering creations in the last week at Pre-school.

Christmas cards

Your children have been making some Christmas cards at Pre-school, personalised Christmas cards are always the best so I’m sure these will be greatly received.

Snacks will be Christmas orientated with lots of yummy food, please note dietary requirements will be catered for.

Most importantly the Christmas Concert

It simply wouldn’t be Christmas without a group of wonderful children singing some of the most loves Christmas tunes – so please join us for the annual Ecclesall Pre-school Christmas Concert on Monday 12th Dec at 1.45pm.  Last year we held the Christmas performance at ‘All Saints church’, we have again decided to host the performance at the Church as it was a huge success last year. Places for this wonderful event are strictly limited – so please talk to the pre-school manager if you want to attend and have not already booked your tickets.

Last – but certainly not least – we understand that not all of our children celebrate Christmas and we also understand that you may not want your child to partake in any of the activities, in which case we would ask you to please talk to a member of staff who will be happy to make alternative arrangements to suit you and your child.
